Je ne comprends pas Français
I was thinking if the title should have been “Je déteste la Français“. Kidding, I like the language – it’s just a pain to learn an entirely new language unless you’re living in an environment where you’re forced to speak it.

I met J after lessons today since he so happened to be around with the guys for a competition briefing/lecture. We had lunch at the canteen, then went off to the Library because he wanted to visit it. Since we were there, I took the chance to look for the book I’ve been trying to find – “Like the Flowing River” – before heading to AMK Hub.
Amazingly, there was one copy of the book left. I borrowed it – for reasons I’ve yet to find out yet.
We had milk tea from Koi Cafe before heading over to the Times Bookshop Warehouse Sale at the Industrial Park.

I think the Warehouse Sale was more for selling away books from lesser known authors whom produce lesser known books. There also seemed to be leftover rejected stock for the more popular books going at $5. I think the popular books (rejected stock with minor defects) already got taken away.
There was a minute section for the newer books, but they were only going at a 20% off price. The selection there was pityful. I saw Dorothy Koomson’s books there, “Marshmallows for Breakfast” and “Goodnight, Beautiful” – was tempted to buy the latter since I read the former and liked it, but I told myself not to.
I walked around trying to find the book – “Like the Flowing River” – and in a not so suprising outcome, to no avail. I bought The Five People You Meet In Heaven by Mitch Albom instead, and that cost $11.
After that we went back to AMK Hub to meet S and then we went back after meeting the guys who just finished their briefing.
